This blog is dedicated to the greatest all-female team in the history of comics, DC's Birds of Prey! Since it first appeared as a relatively unofficial short story buried in a DC showcase, the team's propularity and roster has grown.
Led by information and computer specialist Oracle (Barbara Gordon, formerly Batgirl), the field team has boasted a number of agents, most notably Black Canary, Huntress, Lady Blackhawk, Manhunter, Misfit and Big Barda, among many others (with plenty of appearances from other heroes). As the team returns to the spotlight, let's focus on all the great times this series has given us!
Note: Submissions will be accepted freely, but as far as possible the appearance of the Birds in other comics separate from BOP activity (e.g., Black Canary in the Justice League) should be avoided. Pin-ups are, of course, allowed. This is a guideline rather than a rule, but it would be better to dedicate this blog to the actual Birds of Prey outfit.

I’m not offended as a woman, I’m offended as someone who writes comedy.
I wish I could say this in a more classy manner, but for once I can’t find anything more appropriate than to say I’m trying not to vomit after reading that.
writer was trying...point with this dreck (presumably that Gail Simone
